Ear Candling

Ear Candles: How to Use Them

1) Set up your workspace.
Ensure that the space is draught-free, that the temperature is comfortable, and that the lighting is warm. You may want to play some soothing music in the background.
2) Gather your supplies.
Place your ear candles, a small bowl of water, a mirror, a lighter or matches, and scissors on the table.

3) Arrange yourself in a comfortable place.
On the sofa or even on the floor! Tilt your head to one side and rest your head on a pillow. It’s a good idea to have someone with you to help you with ear candling, particularly if this is your first time.
Once you’ve developed a daily ear candling routine, make sure you have a mirror nearby so you can track your progress while candling.

5)Blow out the torch.
When the candle is lit, it produces a small vacuum, oxidizing, vaporizing, and pulling softened wax and debris out of the ears. This is a very gentle and noninvasive operation, and you can most likely hear a lovely crackling or light hissing sound as it is being performed. The candle will burn for approximately 10-12 minutes.

6) When the flame crosses the line marking, remove the candle from your ear.
Cut off the burned part of the candle and put it in a bowl of water to put it out.
